Limited 2xLP set by Music On Vinyl


This is the yellow "banana peel" variant and is number 2494 of 3000 total copies.


Ive owned this since brand new and never played it until i had a brief try of each side prior to listing it.  Both discs were first put through my Degritter heavy wash routine.  They present immaculately both visually and in playback, from the few moments ive played there is next to no vinyl noise.  Of course a full playthrough could be different but the compound is clearly inherently quiet like most MOV/RI pressings.  Therefore this example is guaranteed to have a quiet overall playback and cleaner grooves than a new/sealed copy.


Another reason to buy this over a brand new.and unopened/unused one is the vitsl way ive kept this copy.  When i bought it i immediately removed the stock PVC outer sleeve as clear PVC sleeves should not linger against vinyl records (themselves PVC) for a number of years as the vinyl will end up inheriting the degrading clear PVC sleeve's residue which causes ruinous playback.  You can truly smell the gases.  Ive therefore safely kept this in a proper polyethelene sleeve until listing today with the OG pvc which it will come with.  The jacket is absolutely as new and unmarked to boot.


Reason for sale.... i also bought the pink 2xLP set and i sort of prefer the uniqueness of it.  Ive got a fair few yellow records but not many pink ones.  I love VU but keeping two or more copies of records i rarely or never play is a practise im now ending!


A superb copy then, cared for to the maximum while being clean and ready to blast!
