Description
The Velvet Underground & Nico US Vinyl Gatefold LP Verve Records V6-5008 1968 with unpeeled banana sticker.
Third pressing with airbrushed Emerson Torso image on the back cover.
East Coast pressing with labels giving:
- "Side 1" and "Side 2" instead of "Side A" and "Side B".
- Song credits: "Reed - Cale - Morrison - Tucker" instead "L. Reed - J. Cale - S. Morrison - M. Tucker".
- "Three Prong Music. All Selections BMI" instead "All Selections Three Prong Music, Inc. BMI"
Jacket has minor ring wear and very slight yellowing. The banana sticker is missing a very small piece on the top (photo 5) and has very small tears on the top and bottom (photos 5 & 6)--guessing someone tried to peel it and peek. There is a name written on the inside jacket (photo 7). (Side note: the name -autograph?- is actually Iowa rock n roll hall of famer Jim Musser-the original owner of this record).
Disc is very shiny with no real signs of use. (Has a few sleeve scuffs if you hold it up very close to a light)
Very clean copy of this oddball pressing of this incredible record.
