Guaranteed very early pressing of The Velvet Underground's self-titled, still factory sealed. Considering the "DJ Not For Sale" promotional red sticker located on the front cover underneath the shrink wrap, this copy is MGM's DJ radio station issue. Following this logic, it could be assumed that this copy contains the M-G-M Special Disc Jockey Record Yellow Promo Label, but I can't guarantee that, because I've come across the copies with the DJ Not For Sale sticker which had the commercial aqua-blue and silvery/gold labels. However, what I'm confident about is that this copy is a very early pressing and contains Lou Reed's Closet Mix with boosted vocals and guitars solo. Additionally, the mouth of the cover reveals MGM's "The Sound of Now" inner sleeve through the intact shrink wrap, which comes with all of the 1st pressings of this album. Please pay attention that this DJ radio station copy comes with an original June 28, 1969 "Rolling Stone" magazine vintage ad poster with MGM's promotion of The Velvet Underground's new self-titled album. ★ Great Mint condition with only top left corner having a light crease and a slight bumping to the bottom right corner.
