The Velvet Underground White Light/White Heat Original Stereo Issue Verve LP

Up for sale is an original U.S stereo pressing of The Velvet Underground's White Light/White Heat, Cat: V6-5046 on the Verve Label.  It was their 2nd release.  The vinyl is graded VG, and there is a flaw on track 1 which causes clicks but no skips.  For that reason, the price is significantly reduced from the $65.00 these records normally command.  There is an owner placed sticker on the top left (3-16-68) which probably signifies the date of purchase.  The sticker is not easily removable and is not your ordinary pricing sticker which you can take off with wallpaper stripper and lighter fluid.  You can try, but I don't recommend it.  The jacket's in pretty nice shape with your normal corner wear, but in better shape than most copies of this release.  I ship my records in lp mailers with stiffeners and bubble wrap.
Update: May 28th--had a good question from someone regarding whether this is first pressing--In short, it is.  Here is my response--perhaps should have included more info in my details in the first place:

It'a first pressing. Warhol is credited on the back cover cover with "cover concept" and "Here She Comes Now" is incorrectly listed as "There She Comes Now." The problem was cleared up pretty quickly in subsequent pressings. The reason for the lower price is just the condition of the vinyl in one particular place. I believe it's a close to $50 record. But my bidding would stop in the late $40's if I were interested in it.

Another evening update:
I put this album on again for a test listen. I wanted to clarify the issue with White Light, track 1. There are clicks every 3 secs or so as the needle is going over a rough patch there. No skips, but it's not a pleasurable listen for 3/4 of that song. The rest of the album is fine and the only real issue comes from the general muddy recording of the album itself. Like I told one buyer, I do not recommend bidding this as if it were mint, and some might call this VG- vinyl depending on how you view things.
