Description
The Verve - Urban Hymns, 1997 Original UK 13-track Double Vinyl LP on Hut HUTLP 45.
When this came out in 1997 only a few people in the UK were still buying on vinyl, so although it was a popular album I don't think you'll find too many of these around!
I bought it on release and it was probably only played a handful of times and then stored safely in vertical racking. It looks the sort of album where people would say it was very well looked-after.
The cover looks Mint except for a very tiny crease in the top left corner and another one in bottom right, both you can see in the picture. At the time I was buying from Sister Ray by Mail Order and despite numerous pleas for them to package vinyl properly they were not good and so albums would often arrive slightly creased!
The inner sleeves are both Mint as well except for a slight crease this time in the top left, which matches putting the inners into the sleeve sideways to hide the opening!
The vinyls themselves are all shiny and look 'As New'.
I don't know if this album had more than one original pressing, but just for confirmation the matrix number are:
A 1 - 1 - 1
B 1 - 1 - 1
C 1 - 1 - 1
D 1 - 1 - 1
I'll send out packaged very well in one of those sturdy mailers that Amazon have now perfected!
