Description

The Voice Of Frank Sinatra was the first studio album released on Columbia Records in 1946. The orchestra was under the direction of Axel Stordahl, and the songs on the four shellac records are: You Go To My Head, I Don't Know Why (I Just Do), These Foolish Things (Remind Me Of You), (I Don't Stand) A Ghost Of A Chance (With You), Why Shouldn't I, Try A Little Tenderness, Someone To Watch Over Me, and Paradise. The album went to Number One on the fledgling Billboard chart. It stayed at the top for seven weeks in 1946.
