Disc Grade:  M-  Outstanding.

Cover Grade:  EX  The cover has many wrinkles around the edges, perhaps from tight shrink wrap.  There is a cutout or promo hole.  Virtually no ring wear. 

Grading

We assign a grade to the cover and disc, based on a visual inspection, using the following criteria:

M (Mint): Only items appearing to be perfect are graded ‘M’

M- (Mint Minus): ‘M-’ discs and covers appear virtually flawless.

EX (Excellent): 'EX' discs appear predominantly flawless with very few scuffs or other flaws.   Covers have minor defects that do not detract from the overall excellent appearance of the item.

VG+: ‘VG+’ discs have visible scuffs or surface imperfections, but these imperfections should not significantly affect sound quality.  Covers have an overall strong appearance, but with one or more defects, such as ring wear.

VG: 'VG' discs have visible scuffs or surface imperfections, which may affect overall sound quality.  Covers have a good overall appearance with one or more defects.

We describe items as accurately as possible, including labels and inserts such as posters, but don’t grade items other than the disc and cover.

We intend our grading to be completely reflective of the actual condition of the item, but please remember that grading has a subjective element to it.  You may apply different standards to record grading, or your sound system may reveal flaws not visible to the eye.

If you have any questions about the condition of the item, please contact us as early in the auction as possible, before placing a bid.  We want you to be satisfied with your purchase.

Shipping

Shipping to US locations is via USPS Priority Mail.  Rates are based on the actual charge, plus $0.55 for confirmation tracking, and $1.00 for packaging.  Insurance at the actual cost is your option.  Damage or loss to uninsured items is the buyer’s responsibility.

Shipping to international locations is via the United States Post Office.  Rates are based the actual charge, plus $0.90 for a Certificate of Mailing and $1.00 for packaging.  No surface mail to international locations.  Insurance at the actual cost is your option.  Damage or loss to uninsured items is the buyer’s responsibility. 

A $20.00 fee is charged for any shipment requiring additional documentation, such as a bill of lading.  (This fee does not apply to custom forms required for mailing.)

We do not use Federal Express under any circumstances.  Hope this does not cause any inconvenience.

Refund Policy

We will give a full refund, including postage, only for items that have undisclosed material defects, such as undisclosed cracks, scratches or warping that render the item unplayable.

Sealed items must be returned sealed to receive a refund. 

No refunds on recordings that are not available on compact disc.

No refunds on records made in Jamaica, house records made in Chicago, and certain other rare, or low volume recordings. 

No refunds on items that do not have undisclosed material defects.
