Description
The Web - Theraphosa Blondi
(Deram Records SML-R 1058 UK Stereo LP 1969)
This is a 1969 UK original Stereo LP pressing. Unfortunately, this auction is for the vinyl only. The sleeve is missing. So, this is ideal for someone with a sleeve but no record.
It comes with its original generic company "blue border" paper inner sleeve. The inside polythene lining is either missing. Although, it looks like it possibly never came with a lining in the first place. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has red & white "Deram" labels. The record has 1st press ZAL-9233 P-1W and ZAL-9234 P-1W matrix numbers. These are machine stamped in the dead wax. It has a plain white card die-cut outer sleeve. This is a very good late 1960's Psych/ Prog/ Jazz LP.
Vinyl: There are some mild, or very mild, surface rub marks, or surface scuff marks, on Side 2. These can only be seen under a strong light. Otherwise, there are some light, mild, very mild or very minor surface sleeve rubs which can hardly be seen under a strong light. The original inner sleeve, over time, has left some light, mild, very mild or very minor feint, or dull, surface marks on some areas. These, again, can hardly be seen under a strong light. Side 1 is in a strong Very Good+ condition. Side 2 is in Very Good condition. Overall, the vinyl is in a strong Very Good condition. The labels are in Excellent condition & show light or very mild spindle wear only.
The company paper inner sleeve is in Very Good condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Very Good to Very Good+ overall & Near Excellent in some places. There is some light, mild, very mild or very minor crackle in some quieter places. There is one mild click on Side 2. Overall, a very decent audio copy.
