Description
Wedding Present LP Vinyl - George Best.
First UK Pressing - Reception - Leeds 1.
Outer sleeve - (VG - VG+) - Outer sleeve is nice and clean for the most part, some creasing along the sides, some creasing to the front and back in places, some slight rubbing along the sides, slight scratching in places, one very small rip to the side of the cover at the back.
Inner Sleeve - (VG) - Inner sleeve is original and relatively nice and clean with some light fingermarks in places, one small slit to one side, one small rip to the bottom of the inner sleeve, slight creasing in places.
Vinyl - (VG - VG+) - Visually graded directly underneath a bright light. When I mention 'scratches' or 'hairlines' or 'scuffs' these are light and cannot be felt deeply by the finger unless otherwise stated.
Vinyl looks clean for the most part with signs of several - many light looking surface scratches which should not affect the vinyl playing very well with the right stylus / set of decks with the chance of some light distortion / surface noise in places. With the right set up I feel the vinyl could / should play VG+.
Record Collectors Grading system
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-fillerTerms of Business: If you are unhappy with your item please let me know and we will resolve it.
