Like ‘Bizarro’ this Special Edition has been remastered from original source material under the watchful eye of one David Gedge this re- issue contains the original Seamonsters album and its accompanying EP’S Dalliance, 3 Songs EP and Lovenest.

Pressed on 10inch vinyl the three discs are package in a 10inch box with newly design sleeves and inner bags, that respectfully retain the heritage of the original design with brand new sleeves notes by Dr Stella Creasy MP.

Produced by Steve Albini the follow up to ‘Bizarro’ which everyone agreed was a brilliant ride through a world of witty responses and break- neck speed guitars, Seamonsters in mournfully bleak, a soundtrack for the rejected and dejected.

This boxed set brings together all the songs from Seamonsters and the EP’s together and serves to remind us quite how well they stand the test of time.

The guitar riffs still distorted, the drums still angry, the lyrics still biting. Somehow whilst many others of the era have become soft and only suitable for car ads or cheesy covers. The Wedding Present remain as flawless and furious as ever.

More than 20 years on this album has lost none of its sting. Anyone with half an ounce of humanity coming anew to these songs will recognise the pain and love requested, regained and ruined they depict.

We only hope others will enjoy the goosebumps and indignation these songs played loudly can bring.

The Wedding Present will be touring the UK and Europe in Sept and Oct 2012 to play the album in its entirety.
