The Wedding present: Seamonsters LP (original 1991 first press)
Here we have the classic 1990's indie album from Leeds legends, The Wedding Present. I remember purchasing this on the Monday it came out back in 1991 and it has been very well looked after in my personal record collection ever since. It is in excellent condition and still sounds superb on playback, so please take the time to scroll through all the attached photos to appreciate what you are buying. I always keep the vinyl in an additioanl plain white polylined anti-static sleeve to help protect it from withdrawl scratches and damage and it will be supplied as such (as well as with the original printed inner sleeve seen in the photographs).
I've have just cleaned it with my professional record cleaning machine with the award winning L'Art Du Son cleaning fluid so its now in the best possible condition and ready to be enjoyed by the next owner. I've just also test played it all the way through on both sides on my Project Debut Carbon turntable fitted with an Ortofon 2M Blue Stylus and I must say it sounds awesome, a great pressing sitting perfectly flat on the deck. It plays through beautifully with only minimal light surface crackle on the run ins at the start of each side and in between tracks. Definitely no sticking, jumping or skipping. I have also compared it to the recent digitally sourced reissue LP of a few years ago owned by a friend and there is absolutely no contest.. the dynamics on this original pressing and the analogue sound makes the digitally sourced reissue pale in comparisson! A great copy of this classic album and harder to find LP and still in excellent condition for 26 years old.
I will post this out to the buyer in a proper cardboard LP mailer with stiffeners so no damage can come to it in transit. I will also post it free to UK buyers.
