The Who - Lot of 9 UK 1960's 7" Single


This is an excellent lot of 9 original 1960's 7" singles. They are all UK pressings except one which is pressed in Australia. They are on the Brunswick, Reaction, Track and Polydor International labels. The condition is, in the main, is Very Good! I have listed them individually below:


1. I Can't Explain/ Bald Headed Woman (Brunswick 05926 UK 7" 1965)

This is a UK original 7" single pressing. The record has black & silver "Brunswick" labels which have a 4 pronged centre. It has 1st press -1C/ -1C matrix stampers. It comes with its original company paper sleeve.

Vinyl: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are about 4 or 5 hairline marks. These measure from 1 cm to 4 cm in length. VG condition. The labels are in near excellent condition & show mild spindle wear. The company paper sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some light, mild or more moderate ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits. Plays VG overall.


2. Anyway Anyhow Anywhere/ Daddy Rolling Stone (Brunswick 05935 UK 7" 1965)

This is a UK original 7" single pressing. The record has black & silver "Brunswick" labels which have a 4 pronged centre. It has 1st press -2C/ -1C matrix stampers. It comes with its original company paper sleeve.

Vinyl: There are some light, mild or more moderate very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are a couple of light 1 cm hairline marks. VG condition. The labels are in vg++ condition. There is a small raised area on the A-side. Otherwise, very mild spindle wear. The company paper sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits. Plays VG+ overall.


3. My Generation/ Shout & Shimmy (Brunswick 05944 UK 7" 1965)

This is a UK original 7" single pressing. The record has black & silver "Brunswick" labels which have a 4 pronged centre. It has 1st press -4C/ -2C matrix stampers. It comes with its original company paper sleeve.

Vinyl: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are about 4 or 5 light hairline marks. These measure from 1 cm to 4 cm in length. VG condition. The labels are in excellent+ condition & show light spindle wear. The company paper sleeve is in VG condition. There is some light, mild or more moderate ringwear & creasing. There is a small 2 cm seam split at the centre of the bottom. Plays VG overall.


4. Substitute/ Instant Party (Reaction 591 001 UK 7" 1966)

This is a UK original 7" single pressing. The record has textured blue & silver "Reaction" labels which have a 3 pronged centre. It has 1st press A-3/ B-3 matrix stampers. It comes with its original company plain paper sleeve. The B-side is the track "Circles".

Vinyl: There are some light or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are about 4 or 5 hairline marks. These measure from 1 cm to 5 cm in length. There is one very small surface rub mark. VG+ condition. The labels are in vg condition. There is a small initial on both labels. Otherwise, mild spindle wear. The company plain paper sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits. Plays VG+ to Near EX overall.


5. I'm A Boy/ In The City (Reaction 591 004 UK 7" 1966)

This is a UK original 7" single pressing. The record has smooth blue & silver "Reaction" labels which have a 3 pronged centre. It has 1st press A-2/ B-1 matrix stampers. It comes with its original company plain paper sleeve.

Vinyl: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are about 5 or 6 hairline marks. These measure from 1 cm to 4 cm in length. There is one very small surface rub mark. VG condition. The labels are in vg++ condition & show mild spindle wear. The company plain paper sleeve is in VG condition. There is some mild to more moderate ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits. Plays VG overall.


6. Happy Jack/ I've Been Away (Reaction 591 010 UK 7" 1966)

This is a UK original 7" single pressing. The record has textured blue & silver "Reaction" labels which have a 3 pronged centre. It has 1st press A-8/ B-1 matrix stampers. It comes with its original company plain paper sleeve.

Vinyl: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There is a very small area of more moderate rubbing wear on one side. There are about 3 light hairline marks. These measure from 1 cm to 4 cm in length. VG+ condition. The labels are in vg++ condition & show mild spindle wear. The company plain paper sleeve is in VG++ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits. Plays VG overall.


7. Pictures Of Lily/ Doctor, Doctor (Track 604002 UK 7" 1967)

This is a UK original 7" single pressing. The record has textured black & silver "Track" labels which have a 3 pronged centre. It has 1st press A-3/ B-3 matrix stampers. It comes with its original company plain paper sleeve.

Vinyl: There are some light, mild or more moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There is a very small area of more moderate rubbing wear on one side. There are about 4 or 5 light hairline marks. These measure from 1 cm to 4 cm in length. VG condition. The labels are in vg++ condition & show mild spindle wear. The company plain paper sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits. Plays VG+ overall.


8. I Can See For Miles/ Someone's Coming (Track 604011 UK 7" 1967)

This is a UK original 7" single pressing. The record has textured black & silver "Track" labels which have a 3 pronged centre. It has 1st press A-1/ B-1 matrix stampers. It comes with its original company plain paper sleeve.

Vinyl: There are some mild or moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. Good++ condition. The labels are in vg++ condition & show mild spindle wear. There is one very small rub mark on one side. The company plain paper sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits. Plays VG overall.


9. I'm A Boy/ In The City (Polydor International NH 591004 7" 1966)

This is an original Australian 7" single pressing. The record has black, red & silver labels which have a solid centre. It has 1st press matrix stampers. It comes with a period 1970's plain paper sleeve.

Vinyl: There are some light, mild or more moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are about 3 or 4 small & light hairline marks. VG condition. The labels are in ex+ condition & show light spindle wear. The plain paper sleeve is in Near EX condition. There is some light or very mild ringwear. There are no seam splits. Plays VG+ to Near EX overall.
