This is a lovely UK original first pressing of the second LP by The Who, 'A Quick One' from 1966.

A//2 / B//1 matrix numbers (A1 / B1 seems to have been used for the UK test pressing)
Original blue Reaction labels.
Original fully laminated single sleeve made by E.J. Day. This sleeve is in superb condition - just one small step down from near mint. This really is in fantastic shape! Perfect and as new except for a couple of relatively light corner creases. There are some minor, small laminate creases but they will have been there since new. Other than that and just the slightest hint of extremely light ring wear, this sleeve is like new! - No splits, rips, tears, major creases, writing, sticker marks. A perfect spine and edges and completely clean and bright. This is the best original sleeve I ever managed to find. You just will not see better, especially after 40 years!
The record itself is stunning! - In at least excellent condition with a few light surface marks but no major defects at all. There are several light spindle marks to the labels so this LP has obviously been played several time but has clearly been very well looked after. This is certainly the best copy I have ever seen and I doubt you could find better. Original pressings of this 40 year old LP just don't turn up in anywhere near this condition...
Both labels are perfect except for the light, minor spindle marks mentioned above and the fact that a previous owner has written his name (Nigel) on the Side One label. This has been written in black felt tip pen just above the spindle hole and wholly contained within the blue printing. None of the actual design of the label is affected and the writing is only approximately one inch (2.5 cm) long. It's black pen on a dark blue label so it really doesn't stand out that much. I wish it wasn't there, but what can you do?...!
A really top UK first pressing. Are there any better ones still out there after 40 years of teenage abuse?...
