This superb copy of the highly-collectible Limited Edition reissue of The Who's iconic live album (The Ox at the peak of his power!) is in strong Near Mint condition with Excellent sleeve. It has been owned exclusively by me since I bought it on release in 1981.
I am listing the disc as being in Near Mint condition, however it's as near actual Mint as you can possibly get because I can't honestly remember ever having played it (I had the original 1970 LP too), however that 1% of nagging doubt prevents me from listing it as Mint. Consequently there are no scratches or rubs, and no spindle wear. This version's lacquer was made by Deutsche Grammophon, and the disc was pressed by PRS Hanover.
The outer sleeve is in Excellent condition. The card is still clear, bright, and in first class order for being 40 years old. There are very faint shadows of handling marks, and slight age-related yellowing near the spine despite the album having been in a heavyweight plastic protective sleeve since I bought it. There are no creases, tears, and barely any foxing of the edges. The 'LIMITED EDITION' decal on the cover shows some minor discolouration on the top edge where its glue has bled through from the back over the years.
The plain paper inner dust cover is crisp and bright.
This Limited Edition reissue was released with a waxed paper bag containing 12 printed items (see pics 4 and 5) including a fold-out poster, letters, handbills, a County Court notice, and other pieces of printwork detailing snapshot moments in the band's rise. They are all Mint: almost entirely untouched and as clean as the day they were printed. The poster has been opened less than a handful of times: I am unwilling to open it again even for this listing (see pic 6) so you benefit from the care I've taken over the years.
