Description

An original 1st issue of QUAD on Uk TRACK. Matrix 2/1/2/2. Definitely do seek out a 1st issue copy...there is a MASSIVE difference with later pressings. Ok, so it goes without saying - these are near master copies...that is certainly a good place to start. But the flat labelled matt copies are pressed heavy and the audio rolling off these copies just totally nails this release. You just will NEVER get this sort of rendition from later copies. The vinyl comes housed in an original 1st issue soft-card cover. As a result of the way they were constructed many copies are knackered by this point in time. So, it makes a nice change to see a decent quality example. Book pages all intact in the interior and still attached. There's also both original inners. So 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+/Ex+) In beautiful condition and has only seen lightest use. Under close inspection great lustre and very little sign of marking at all.  A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback - without RESERVATION.  DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE....this is no 'good copy'....this is as good as you will ever hear copy - across the whole of four sides.. Intros and inbetweens are really quiet and the audio comes across with SUPERB clarity. Doesn't matter whether you're in the quiet passages or the energetic tracks - just clean feed. You wil hear every last nuance in the mix. IT IS ALL STILL THERE.. For this classic title you should really be insisting on the absolute best for audio....because on this title it is well worth witnessing the full gamut. This copy is absolutely top dollar...clean feeder even into the quietest moments. So, you can spin it and know you are witnessing a near-master copy that could never be beat. And as a result you can keep amping it and all you well ever get is clean feed...and more and more low-level detail revealing. SUPERB! FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Vg+) Nice clean surfaces - this original title is a right pain to find in decent condition. Some slight edge wear in a couple of spots and the openings are in nice condition. Superb! Light ageing in the interior - but by and large the photo pages are all intact and in great condition. The spine is 95% intact with all text fully legible. Pretty darn good I'd say.
Inner (Ex) No splits. Sweeett.
