Description of the record:

This is a double album by “The Who” called “Quadrophenia”. This is the 1973 1st pressing on the Track label catalogue number 2657 013.

Gatefold sleeve:

The gatefold sleeve has been graded as VG; some minor creasing and shelf/edge ware. There’s a 1” seam split top edge back panel.

The sleeve is a first pressing printed by Euro-Albums Holland B.V. and have a soft almost pastel grey finish whereas later issues look blacker. On the spine of the outer cover, the first issues have the group name, album name, ‘Track Deluxe Double’ and set number, which is 2657 013.

The lyric booklet has come away from the gatefold sleeve, some pages have been reattached inside with tape (see picture). The book has been graded as Ex apart from the repair.

Guarantee:

Having graded the records I guarantee the person who buys the records will not be disappointed; taking the grading into account. However if the item does not meet with the customers expectation then a full refund will be given if the item is returned in the same condition as it was sent. The refunding of postage and packaging will depend on the nature of the dissatisfaction.

Packaging:

The records will be packaged appropriately to prevent any damage from occurring during transit. Sealed records are not tampered with; if the records are not sealed then the following steps are taken. Records are removed from the outer sleeve to prevent damage occurring to the records or outer sleeve during transit. If records are housed in customised inner sleeves then the records are removed from the customised inner sleeves and placed in white inner sleeves. This prevents damage occurring to the customised inners sleeves such as seam splits and ring ware during transit.

Posting times:

Items will be posted the next working day after payment has been received or cleared.

If more than one item is purchased, where possible, postage and packaging will be combined to give the cheapest and most appropriate postal option.

M = Mint

 

M sleeve: No wear of any kind to the sleeve.

 

M record: No wear what so ever to the record. Any mint records in this collection will have been played only a handful of times.

 

Ex = Excellent

 

Ex sleeve: Some slight wear to the cover; some impression to the cover; no seam splits.

 

Ex record: Minimal wear; some scuffs; record plays close to perfect.

 

VG = Very Good

 

VG sleeve: Some ageing; minor wear to seams or spine; minor creasing, some impression.

 

VG record: Some surface scratching; some back ground noise but not obtrusive.

 

Gd = Good

 

Gd sleeve: Cover in poor condition; seam splits; tears.

 

Gd record: Surface scratching; back ground noise is obtrusive.
