Description

A genuine 1st issue of 'Who's Next' on UK Track. Matrix A1/B2. Etching 'MG12888'. Make no mistake about it this is the true 1st issue of this record. The record comes housed in its original Macneill Press cover with pinched spine. Also included is the original 'plastic bag warning' inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex-/Ex) Is in great condition and has only seen light to moderate use. Under close inspection I can barely make out a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback on side 2 and EXCELLENT- on side 1. Intros and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity and minimal interference. It doesn't take a genius to work out why these early copies are the go to version for best audio. We detected some light static in  a few of the tracks on Side 1 e.g. Baba O'Riley ,but even this is relatively minor. This really is the definitive rendition of this classic album and a real joy to play.
Cover (Ex-) Has been well cared for too. The front is clear of any markings or ageing. The rear only exhibits some light handling wear. The openings are still sharpish and there's only some light edge wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A well preserved example.
Inner (Vg+) Bit of ageing. Catalogue number written in top right. No splits. The LP will come housed in an Exstatic inner sleeve.
