A genuine 1st of the 1st pressings of 'Who's Next' on UK Track. Matrix A1/B2. Etching 'MG12888'. Make no mistake about it this is the true 1st pressing of this record. The record comes housed in its original Macneill Press cover with pinched spine. A beautiful little player>>>highly recommended.
Viny (Ex) Remains in great condition and has clearly been looked after. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. It doesn't take a genius to work out why these very 1st copies are the go to version for best audio. Perfect reproduction all the way through the audio spectrum and excellent tonal balance. We detected a touch of light static in a couple of the tracks [e.g. into to Baba O'Riley], but even this is pretty minor. This really is the definitive rendition of this classic album.
Cover (Ex) Has been well cared for too. The front is clear of any markings or ageing. The rear only exhibits the very lightest of handling wear. The openings are still sharpish and the text on the spine is fully intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Difficult to better I'd imagine...
The Lp will come housed in an Exstatic inner sleeve.
