Description
All the records I sell are from my own collection.
This is The Who - Who's Next. This is a special audiophile recording on 180g virgin vinyl on MCA, cat no MCA 11164 & released in 1995. Matrix numbers are MCA 12401 FO52/ MCA12402 FO53. Labels are clean with some spindle lines. Vinyl looks terrific with no visible defects that I can see. Sound quality is superb as you would expect, with an almost CD quiet background from start to finish. There are 2 light clicks on the whole LP, on the "Behind Blue Eyes" track. Other than this there are no jumps or other pops & clicks. Cover in great shape spine is intact, corners are sharp. No rips, creases, stains, writing or marks, & original inner is perfect. An excellent copy in fabulous all round condition.
I clean all my records with a VPI record cleaning machine & test play before selling.
Grade. Sleeve Ex. Vinyl Ex.
Record grading. I use the Record collector grading system as follows. M.(Mint). These are absolutely perfect in every way. NM. (Near Mint). A good description of a NM record is one that looks like it has just been bought & opened for the first time. In other words, nearly perfect, never played or handled. Ex. (Excellent). The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening of the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VG. (Very Good). The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. G. (Good). The record has been played so much that the sound has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits etc.
