Description

     Here is a largely overlooked psych LP called "The World of Oz" on Deram Records DES 18022 from 1969. This is a British group, and since Jonathon King wrote the liner notes, my guess is that he had something to do with this production. Some songs are based on The Wizard of Oz, but these songs are definitely not from the movie!  I detected a little Floyd, Beatles, Stones, early Bee Gees influence in the songs I played. Great sound! As the liner notes say- Turn up loud! The vinyl looks Mint and it plays Mint. The cover is still in its tight, original shrink wrap with one small staple in upper left corner, barely visible.
