Vintage Epic The Yardbirds 45 Record and Sleeve
Radio Copy with Printing Mistake on Sleeve
“I wish You Would”
“A Certain Girl”
This single came with a very-rare picture sleeve which has the A-Side mis-titled as "I Wish You Could" and the back sleeve consisting entirely of an ad for Esquire Socks
A Price Guide (from 2009) Lists This at $800
Record looks good for its age. Sleeve shows handling from the years, but not terrible.
There is a ¼” tear at the top. And the glue has come loose from the seam on both top left and top right side, but these are not tears, they are where the glue has broken loose and could be carefully re-glued.
Record reads “Radio Station Copy” on both sides.
And there is a mistake on the sleeve printing. One of the songs is listed as “I wish you Could”, but is really titled “I Wish You Would” (correct on the record).
Being a radio copy and the mistake on the sleeve and the socks ad make this 45 extremely collectible.
