One of THE GREAT POP PSYCH Mellotron Records!
Some have called this one of the greatest records of all time. And it would be hard to argue with that. Released in 1968, at least half of this material still works, and the music grabs you from the very opening notes and doesn’t let go until the final notes on side two. “Hung up on a Dream”, the closing cut on Side 1 is still hauntingly beautiful, and get’s my vote as perhaps the very first Progressive Rock tune to be recorded on vinyl. This may also be the 1st record in the later 60’s to use a Mellotron (this was actually recorded in 1967, when both the Beatles and the Moodies used the instrument). And, sonically speaking, this is an Astonishing recording, (Analog, of course), years ahead of other records released at the time. Oh and did I mention that Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone are on this record?Owned by a fussy Audiophile who took care of his stuff, this is a really clean, lovely copy!

CONDITION VINYL: NM/EX (Side 1 is easily NM, and in fact looks new; Side 2 has several light marks that appear to be superficial, which is why I graded it EX.)
CONDITION COVER: NM/EX (In Amazing condition considering its age, with no seam splits and a straight spine, there is some mild fading, some scuffing along the bottom seam, and a small stain on the back (see photo). This is a Really Solid Copy of a great title!)
