The Zombies - Odessey and Orcale (Date TES 4013 Stereo)

Up for auction is a gorgeous, original copy of The Zombies' 1968 psychedelic pop masterpiece, Odessey and Oracle. In my humble opinion, any 1960s collection without this record is incomplete. The Zombies that brought you the incredible, melodic pop singles "She's Not There" and "Tell Her No," go gently psychedelic and create one of the best and most highly regarded albums of the late 1960s.

Cover
The cover of this album is rated a Near Mint Minus. It would be given a standard Near Mint if not for very slight edge wear. The edges do NOT have any splits whatsoever, just a little rub wear. Cover's cardboard still retains its original stiffness.
Record
The actual LP will be rated in between Very Good Plus and Near Mint Minus. After holding this record under a bright light, I had to look very closely to see the minuscule marks on this record that brought me to my grading. It looks like there was VERY slight needle sscratching on side two from the end of band three/the beginning of band four. This may or may not result in slight noise, but I highly doubt this mark will result in any skipping. The first side is nearly flawless with some minimal sleeve marks that should not affect play at all.

Grading
I do not sell records that will rate under Very Good Minus condition unless they are incredibly rare.
My ratings, which closely resemble the Gold Mine standards, are Very Good Minus, Very Good (Standard), Very Good Plus, Near Mint Minus, Near Mint (Standard), Near Mint Plus, and Mint. I do not use negatives for the Mint grading. As far as I'm concerned, if the word Mint is included in the description, there is no flaw at all that would result in a Minus.

I use brand new LP mailers from Bags Unlimited and ALWAYS equip my shipped records with two cardboard inserts. I also remove the LP from the cover so seam splits during shipment are the least of your worries. If you have any specifications on how you'd like the package shipped, please contact me immediately after the auction. I go the extra mile to package my products so they will be ready for any sort of roughness that may occur during the shipment.
