Description
The Zombies "Odessey and Oracle" CBS MONO 63280 1968 Vinyl 12" LP. In view of age in good condition. Original CBS inner sleeve (slightly tatty). Some mucky marks on rear sleeve. Front laminated sleeve has some slight marks but in good condition.Record good, plays okay. "Mono" hand written on centre of disc.
. Please note that the mono version of this album had slightly different mixes to the stereo version.
An incredible album -- one of the greatest rock albums of the 60s, and a record right up there with Pet Sounds or Forever Changes! The arrangements are sublime -- proof that the Zombies were growing way past just a simple Brit Invasion style, into a world of complicated orchestrations, subtle songwriting, and some of the most baroquely beautiful vocals ever recorded in the service of pop music!
