I've Got The Music In Me
Thelma Houston & Pressure Cooker
Sheffield Lab 2
Sealed Direct-to-disc LP
This was the first vocal direct-to-disc record to be released by Sheffield Lab, one of the earliest titles in Sheffield's long D2D series. The backup band, Pressure Cooker, includes many well-known studio musicians, including Larry Knechtel, Michael Omartian, Tom Scott, Larry Carlton, Jim Keltner, Chuck Findley, and Victor Feldman. Produced and engineered by Bill Schnee.
This is the original D2D recording, NOT the later reissue that was made from analog backup tapes. These are very hard to find in sealed condition.
I purchased this copy nearly thirty years ago, and it is still sealed and in excellent shape. The plastic bag is slightly torn at the lower right corner, as can be seen in the photo, but the cover is undamaged.
