Description
Original 1959 deep groove Riverside black label Stereo pressing. Only a few spindle marks on the label. Charlie Rouse, Thad Jones, Sam Jones and Art Taylor. Side one sounds great so I am rating it as Excellent as there are only a few low level ticks in a couple spots. Very clean glossy surface on Side 1. Side 2 is fairly noisy the first half with a pretty fair amount of background noise that is getting a VG+ rating. AQuite a few light scratches on Side 2. One side nice the other not so great (that is play grading for you). Cover is pretty nice except for some odd ring wear where it looks like the record label area caused the wear. Pretty solid cover otherwise. Cover is Excellent. I would say the mono version is much more common for this LP. AVCO inscribed in the run out groove on both sides. Could be yours... This has been cleaned on a pro VPI 17F record cleaning machine which vastly lowers the noise floor and improves the sound of any record dramatically. While eBay requires us to post Media Mail at $4 I highly encourage any US buyer to pay $6 extra and use Priority Mail as it is a much faster service and records get much better treatment during shipping. Media Mail can also be very slow at times (up to two weeks) while Priority Mail is 2-3 days anywhere in the US. No hassle return policy. Strict play grading by seller with many years experience of selling high quality vinyl. Heavy duty packing. Please email any questions. US shipping. Media Mail $4. (can be slow with so so handling of package). US Priority Mail $10 (much faster, better handing. Great service). UK Air Mail $19 Australia / Japan Air Mail $19 Canada Air Mail $12 Other countries send message, but similar to above prices. Can combine shipping for slight additional cost.
