Description
Thelonious Monk - Brilliant Corners Japan Test Pressing
RLP 12-226 A A-2
RLP 12-226 B B-2 Catalogue Number R5006 (stamped on one side label)
That is mega rare Japan Test Pressing - only one copy on ebay. On discogs there is also one copy (that's mine).
This version has same UK Test Pressing matrices, however the catalogue number differ. Also the stamp "Riverside Reeves Spectrosonic" on cover there is charakteristic (this not found in any other issue). I don't know when this press released, although I think when the album was released, so 1957 or shortly after.
When it comes to vinyl condition, there is EX copy. Only several very little scuffs visiable at light. The sound is same as this looks. Without skips, crackling, pops. Only light surface noise in a few places, very slightly, not loud.
Labels are slightly dirt as you can see on picks. One side label there is stamp from catalogue number (R5006).
Cover: VG Little wear as you see. Little dirt. There is not tears, abrassion, insriptions or other defects. The spine is pretty nice condition.
The edges very little wear. On the front side cover there is stamp - check photos.
