Up for auction is a rare original stereo pressing of the Thelonious Monk ‘Brilliant Corners’ LP on Riverside Records 1174. Other musicians include Sonny Rollins, Ernie Henry, and Clark Terry.
Record info:
VG+ with some scuffs but it plays really well!
Cover info:
VG mainly due to some tape on front top left corner wrapping around to the back. It looks like some sort of tag was taped there and then removed. It's really not that bad. There is some seam wear but only one tiny split on bottom at jacket opening. The same corner has moderate creasing.
Label / Pressing info:
Original stereo deep groove press. The stereo version is much harder to find than the mono.
Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.
Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.
International shipping will be $18. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
