Description
THELONIOUS MONK - GENIUS OF MODERN MUSIC, VOL. 2, Blue Note BLP 1511, deep groove pressing, RVG in dead wax, 47 West 63rd St on jacket and on labels, original Blue Note inner sleeve.
This classic LP contains 12 sides recorded in the late 1940's and early 1950's featuring Kenny Dorham, Lou Donaldson, Lucky Thompson, Nelson Boyd, Max Roach, Idrees Sulieman, Danny Quebec West, Billy Smith, Gene Ramey, Art Blakey, Sahib Shihab, MIlt Jackson, Al McKibbon, George Taitt, Robert Paige.
The tunes are Carolina Moon, Hornin' In, Skippy, Let's Cool One, Suburban Eyes, Evonce, Straight No Chaser, Four In One, Nice Work, Monk's Mood, Who Knows, Ask Me Now.
Condition of record is E-, no scuffs, no scratches, a few spindle marks. Jacket shows slight overall wear, no seam splits.

G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
