Thelonious Monk , The Unique RLP 12-209 Riverside 2nd Mono press
Vinyl is VG with light surface noise that is non obtrusive. Light ticks and clicks in quiter sections. The surface retains its glossy shine and contains the deep groove we all know and love with no "INC." on the blue label. The US patent number and catalog number are stamped and etched in the dead wax. This copy plays well with a vast sound stage and realness that usually accompany vinyl of this era.
Jacket leaves a lot to be desired, honestly. It is the original design that was released with the first press and this one, until its updated "stamp" version for the later 2nd presses. All seams are taped and corners are rounded. The opening side is worn and missing some color. It's Graded G+.
Vinyl was play tested on a Thorens TD 125 with SME 3009 tonearm and Ortofon 2M Bronze cartridge for its intermediate grade that relates mostly to what buyers may have.

I do NOT ship with white LP mailers. I use quality Whiplash LP mailers and pack in 3 Mil poly sleeves and bubble wrap.
