Description
Thelonious Monk (with Sonny Rollins, Art Blakey, Percy Heath, Art Taylor, etc.) WORK Prestige 7169, recorded 1952. Bergenfield deep groove mono black-and-yellow label. “RVG” hand-cut into the wax. Laminated jacket is NM-: spotless and strong; one small ballpoint notation from retail on lower back. Disc looks NM and plays E: classic noisy Prestige pressing, even though there’s no evidence whatsoever of play wear or damage.
Ninth offering from the vast, very special collection of an international avant-garde LP maven, to be offered across the coming year.
