Description
This is the original deep-groove RVG-etched pressing of Thelonious Monk “Monk” on the yellow and black West 50th St. labels of Prestige PRLP 7053. The playing surface appears to be close to new, with a high luster; however, there is a hairline at the beginning Side 1, Track 1 that is audible for the first half of the track; perhaps played once. The laminated West 50th St. cover is clean throughout, with normal age toning; 1 ½” clean break at the center of the bottom seam; superficial 1 ¾” lamination scratch at the bottom of the front.
