Description

This is the original deep groove pressing of Thelonious Monk “Monk’s Music” on the white reel-logo labels of Riverside RLP 12-242.  The flat rim playing surface is in excellent condition, with inaudible storage splotching; a few light tics at the start of teach side; perhaps played once.  The laminated cover is also in excellent condition – bright and clean throughout; ¼” wear on the top seam, at the opening; ½” wear on the bottom seam, at the opening.  Original glassine inner sleeve is included.  Personnel include John Coltrane, Coleman Hawkins, Gigi Gryce, Wilbur Ware, and Art Blakey.  $100.00.
