Description
This is the original deep-groove pressing of Thelonious Monk “Monk’s Music” on the white and blue reel-logo labels of Riverside RLP 12-242. The flat-rim playing surface is in near-new condition, with a nice luster; perhaps played once. The laminated 553 West 51st St. cover is bright and clean throughout, with sharp corners and perfect seams. (Blue stripes are not on the cover, they are on the scan. The cover is perfect.) Personnel include John Coltrane, Coleman Hawkins, Gigi Gryce, and Art Blakey. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL. Please do not bid unless you are comfortable providing credit card information directly.
