DESCRIPTION: Thin Lizzy Lp- Bad Reputation. 1ST UK pressing with FRONT AND BACK LAMINATED SLEEVE and vertigo spaceship labels, 1//2 and 2//1 matrix and matt inner sleeve. The inner sleeve ahs a grey/blue hue and is matt. It looks and fels quite different to the usual hard card inner. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo 9102 016 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/EX. Vinyl is very clean with a decent sheen. Played passages of this today on my Pro- ject deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds EX. Music is clear and loud. Cover retains great shape and has less than light edgewear, cornerwear and light creasing. Being a black cover these usually look battered, this is strictly graded, and its the best sleeve i have had for this, Its also the first laminated one. Inner is also very nice , less than light wear again and without the usual sticky fingerprints that plague these black sleeves. Clean labels. No writing, rips or sticker tears. Low starting price for a Uk 1st pressing of a great LP. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. ALL ITEMS (OR COMBINATIONOF ITEMS) SELLING FOR OVER £30 MUST BE SENT SIGNED FOR OR AIRSURE TO COMPLY WITH PAYPAL POLICIES- ASK ME FOR FURTHER DETAILS. UPDATE: I now think this may not be a 1st press vinyl after information received from ebayer "Thinlizzyguide". However, the laminated cover is still proving of interest to many watchers so please bear this update in mind when bidding. If you just want the early press vinyl in a standard non-laminated sleeve for a low price I have one for sale in my ebay shop (Along with another 5 or 6 thin lizzy/related LPs). Thanks, Stan
