Description

Original UK June 1978 1st Press copy of Thin Lizzy - Live And Dangerous ( Corrected Side A cut). Taken from live recordings of the Johnny The Fox tour 1976 & the Bad Reputation tour 1977, this is the superior Utopia pressing on the Vertigo Spaceship label 6641 807 It includes live versions of classic TL stompers ( The Boys Are Back In Town, Dancing In The Moonlight, Jailbreak, The Rocker and more) See photos for full track listing.

The vinyl has been ultrasonically cleaned in our amazing Degritter and has come up spotlessly clean and glossy with no marks. A couple of very faint scuffs if anything.  Clean labels and spindle holes - Graded NM. This has had very little play.
We gave this a spin on our Rega Naia turntable with Aphelion 2 cartridge and cranked up the volume.  Wow!  A hugely dynamic blistering sound with a real live atmosphere absolutely slammed out of our speakers. We even applauded in parts......!
A masterclass in production of a live recording - well balanced and room filling with superb detail and instrument separation - everything feels spacious with real depth. A wonderful recording of an electrifying band. The vinyl plays through beautifully with no jumping or sticking - no issues. An engaging listen from start to finish.

The gatefold outer sleeve is really clean and glossy, crisp & smooth with barely any wear. Tiny creases to spine area if we are being picky, plus minimal edge and corner rubbing. Lovely sharp spine. No writing, splits, stains, tears or tape.
Original printed card photo inner sleeves are present & in EX condition.  We have popped the records into fresh poly lined inners to preserve them after cleaning - you will receive both.

A top copy in superb condition, cleaned & FULLY play tested, ready to pop straight onto your turntable & play very loud!

We have taken lots of photos in good natural daylight so you can see exactly what you are buying. Please take a moment to look at the photos as they form part of the description.
**The vinyl will be sent separated out from the sleeve in a clear archival outer to avoid transit splits**
