Description

This was I believe the 1st pressing and consisted of the LP in a gatefold cover that also housed a Live 12" Record. ( see notes )
1983 release On Vertigo VERL3 and LIZLP3. Still in its factory seal although opened at top to check vinyl.

NOTE
Early pressings were released as a limited edition gatefold sleeve with an extra 12" featuring four tracks recorded live at Hammersmith Odeon on November 27, 1981. According to the book "Phil Lynott: THE ROCKER", written by Mark Putterford, Lynott insisted that it was released as a gatefold sleeve, but the record company didn't agree because of the high costs. This almost made Lynott leave the band, but later he accepted the limited edition idea.
