Description

Original 1999 US 2LP pressing on black vinyl, rare and hard to find.  This was a US-only release.  There was a 2013 Elektra reissue on blue vinyl, but the mastering and pressings were quite poor.   Bought second-hand and stored upright in a 5 mil heavyweight polypro sleeve in a smoke-free environment.  Some cover imperfections, but still a nice copy of this rarity.

  • VG+ cover has two damaged spots on the front where price stickers were removed, top right and middle right (photo).  Spine and edges are strong with no seam splits.  Mild wear in a couple of areas along the top and the bottom edge.  Bottom left and bottom right corner dings/wear (photos).  Mild wear at top left and top right corners (photo).  Close to EX, but the sticker-removal marks on the front drop the grade.
  • NM insert has no markings, tears or creases.  Corners are strong and sharp with no wear.  Very nice.
  • EX Side 1 has a large sleeve scuff through track 1 ("Anything") and part of track 2 ("Wounded"). This is a surface scuff only and will not effect play quality, but it does drop the visual grading.  There are two other very light hairline scuffs that will not effect play quality.
  • NM Side 2 has one light hairline scuff through track 1 ("Deep Inside Of You") that will not effect sound quality.
  • NM Side 3 has two light sleeve scuffs that will not effect play quality.
  • NM Side 4 has no visible marks or scuffs.

I am a lifelong vinyl collector (49 years old) and just starting to sell off my very large collection.  Much tender loving care has gone into this collection.  I have digitally archived all my albums.  These are what I listen to, so most of my LPs bought new have had very few spins.  All have been stored upright in 5 mil heavyweight polypro sleeves in a smoke-free environment.  Many more rare and hard to find collectibles to be listed.  Stay tuned!

Grading is visual only and conservative (using Ebay categories):
Mint (I almost never use this grade unless it's sealed) means perfect Near Mint means just shy of perfect Excellent means light wear, or a couple light marks Very Good Plus means more significant wear but nothing serious, or more than a couple light marks and/or a few hairlines Very Good has more serious wear but it's definitely not garbage, has marks and hairlines
