Description
A very rare stereo version of This Is The Magic Mixture by The Magic Mixture on Saga Records Cat No. STFID2125 Matrix is STFID2125 A/B
Sleeve has creases on the spine and top and bottom right corners. The opening has slightly feathered edge but is not torn. The back has a small tear on the top edge and a faint ink stamp in the lower right corner for Associated Recordings Ltd - could it be a promo copy?
Overall the sleeve is better than VG, many people might give it an Ex- however I grade strictly so will stick at VG+ .
Comes with original Saga inner sleeve which has browned with age.
Record has been played with a number of spindle marks on both labels but the labels are not damaged. There are no stickers, marks or writing on either label.
Vinyl plays well with some pops. Saga were never the best pressings! Side 2 tk 3 has some pops that sound like a scratch but is actually some muck in the groove that my brush would not lift out. The record would definitely benefit from a 'wet' clean. I grade this as an EX-
