Description


    Hampton Hawes "This Is Hampton Hawes" Volume 2, The Trio Hampton Hawes (p) Red Mitchell (b) Chuck Thompson (d)
Los Angeles, CA, 1955 and 1956
Original pressing on Contemporary Records from 1956, deep groove Mono recording, catalog #M3515, thick card stock gatefold jacket and a paste on back. 
The vinyl is near mint, a few super light marks, but practically zero discernible surface noise. Although one label has tears (pictured), looks like it happened during the pressing, the paper is a little bubbly there, the other label is perfect.
The thick cardstock cover is VG+, it has light ringwear front and back, the spine has a few small chips at the corners, but no splits  (see pictures for more details).
