These are Limited Edition Collectors set of the series "Those Glorious MGM Musicals" that came out in 1973.  Eleven of the 12 double LPs in gatefold albums are accounted for.   Some say Collectors some say Limited.  Some ar Promotional home are not.  But all the LPs are in EX to NM condition.  The jackets show some normal wear but are now in Plastic Slipcovers.  Here's the Kicker.  Many of the Jackets carry the Autographs of the Stars of the Musicals including Debbie Reynolds, Fred Astaire, Howard Keel, June Allyson and others.  The historical liner notes read like a graduate class in film, such insight and details.  A word on the signatures: these LPs are from a large collection by a neighbor, many many were signed by luminaries of stage and screen and music.  Among them Johnny Cash, Debbie Reynolds, Fred Astair, Dionne Warwick to name just a few.  He was an avid collector and when younger hung out with the glam crowd in LA.  Although not authenticated (it would cost too much) you can rest assured they are legit, you can tell by comparing them to other signatures by the artists online and by the condition of signatures on the jackets - they were not done recently but many years ago.
