Description

Up for auction is an original mono pressing of the Three Sounds 'Black Orchid' LP on Blue Note Records BLP 4155. The musicians include Gene Harris, Andrew Simpkins, and Bill Dowdy.

Record info:

VG+ with some scuffs and some surface noise. It plays and sounds great!

Cover info:

VG+ with solid seams with some minor wear, mostly on the corners. Two corners have prominent creasing. The back cover has a 'Review Copy' promo stamp. It comes with the original Blue Note Records inner sleeve (some seam splitting).

Label / Pressing info:

Original New York label, mono press with Van Gelder stamp and Ear logo on both sides in the dead wax area.

Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.

Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.

International shipping will be $18. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
