Description

The Alchemy Index, by Thrice - Vagrant Records

This is the original FIRST PRESS, recorded in 2008 and released in 2009. It is not the much later reissued version.

The first press had a manufacturer skip on the fourth album titled, "Earth." Later, a corrected "Earth" album became available as a replacement. This set includes both the original and the replacement "Earth" albums.

This whole set includes FIVE colored vinyl albums:

  • FIRE Vinyl, 10", 33 ? RPM, Red Translucent
  • WATER Vinyl, 10", 33 ? RPM, Blue Translucent
  • AIR Vinyl, 10", 33 ? RPM, Clear
  • EARTH Vinyl, 10", 33 ? RPM, Brown Marble
  • EARTH Vinyl, 10", 33 ? RPM, Brown Marble - BONUS Replacement album.

This original first press set is #2735 of a limited edition of only 3000.

This set is in good pre-owned condition (The vinyl itself is in very good condition). There are a couple of small light scuffs on the cover and a couple of small cover paper tears at the back inside bottom. The inside of the back cover spine area also has some slight defect or wear from attaching the replacement album. The round "holes" shown in the inner spine in the pictures are supposed to be there. That is not a defect. This set also includes the "Earth" replacement vinyl and sleeve that has been glued into the back of book.  (see photos)
