Description

For Auction at a low start price: Throbbing Gristle - Mission is Terminated/Nice Tracks, 1983 Nice EX 39 LY 2, LP Compilation + 12" 45 RPM Single, Made in Italy.

Vinyl is EX+, Cover is EX. Record 1 vinyl shows a couple of minor sleeve scuffs, otherwise looks NM. A couple of pops at the beginning of both sides, then plays clean with no noise. Record 2, both sides have areas of what sounds like light noise, but not sure if it's supposed to be there as part of the recording. Vinyl looks NM and shiny. Both records play clean otherwise. Small round purple rubber stamp image on one label of each record. Gatefold cover shows light foxing on white sleeve outside and inside and light ring wear. Colored sleeve appears clean with minor ring wear. Includes Red Ronnie's Bazar 3 printed booklet, 16 pages total at 12" x 12". Booklet is in M/NM condition and has never been read. See photos for further condition verification.
All sales final with no returns. Ask any questions and I'll reply ASAP.
Discogs Info: This release features a 12" "Mission is Terminated" by Throbbing Gristle, and "Nice Tracks" a LP containing songs and cut-up spoken word excerpts from various artists. Packaged in gatefold sleeve.

Includes a 12"x12" 16-page fanzine "Red Ronnie's Bazar 3" which mainly contains a long interview with Genesis P-Orridge (in both English and Italian) and photos.

Notes about the confusing tracklist and order of discs:
- The inside gatefold reads that Throbbing Gristle is on sides 2 & 3 and the compilation on sides 1 & 4, which is incorrect. Actually, and also printed on labels, disc 1 plays the LP (sides 1 & 2) and disc 2 plays the 12" (sides 3 & 4) which is reflected on the above tracklist.
- However, etchings on vinyl have a different logic in their suffix (see below matrix/runout etchings).
- Durations printed on sleeve and on labels are slightly different for the 12".
- The front sleeve can be viewed by choice from the TG panel or from the Nice Tracks panel, each matching on the inside-left gatefold with related texts, credits, etc. The 'TG' panel with the illustration of the Pope is generally known as the front sleeve.
- At last, sleeve's spine reads 'EX 39 LY2 Throbbing Gristle "Mission Is Terminated" "Nice Tracks..." Nice Label' which also imply that Throbbing Gristle is the prime artist here.

Track B24 is not listed, however the inside gatefold has an English translation of the dialogue spoken by Enrico Maria Salerno.
Tracks C1 and C2 were recorded live in Sheffield.
Tracks D1 and D2 are sound collages edited together from the original five tracks previously released on Journey Through A Body.

On the inside gatefold cover (Throbbing Gristle panel): c p 1983 Expanded Music
On labels: (P) 1983 Nice Label - Made in Italy

********** I can combine shipping for all records won by a single buyer, except for International sales (outside the USA) as Ebay does not allow it. Buyers inside the USA: after winning all the auctions you're interested in, let me know you want me to combine the items for shipping and I'll send you a combined invoice.

Records will be expertly packed. In most cases I will separate the vinyl & inner sleeves from their covers. Album covers packed in acid-free poly bags.

I will generally always ship using USPS Media Mail unless the buyer selects USPS Ground as the shipping option. Obviously for any records or group of combined sales that are high valued, I would recommend selecting USPS Ground shipping as it is automatically insured up to $100.00 and arrives faster than Media Mail shipping.

FYI: USPS does not automatically include insurance with Media Mail and reserves the right to randomly open Media Mail packages to insure the sender is not trying to cheat USPS by shipping something other than Media. Insurance for Media Mail can be added for a low additional cost if the buyer requests it.

I am in the process of selling my entire record collection - save me as a seller if you want to be notified of future listings as I post them. I've got some great vinyl coming up! I will sometimes reference Discogs' notes on my records to inform price values.
