Description

Ticket - Let Sleeping Dogs Lie - Vinyl LP - 1972 Australian first press on Atlantic labels (SD-1010).  A really beautiful example of this prog masterpice that is becoming nearly impossible to come accross, especially in this condition.
Sleeve is the beutiful textured gatefold.  Parts of the front are worn to white on the cross hatch texture as shown.  There's some ring wear starting at the top on the front and more pronounced ring wear on the back as the pictures show.  The spine is strong and straight.  There is a smal part at the very top of the spine (about half a centimetre) where it has worn back to the cardboard.  Again, I have captured this in a close up photograph.  The inner gatefold is superb.  There is a price written in pen inside the sleeve part of the gatefold that I didn't even notice but have taken a photo of.  It's very inconspicuous.
The disc is in beautiful shape.  There are some very, very faint hairline marks only visible at the right angle under bright LED's that in my experience are consistent with being pulled out of and replaced into a paper sleeve.  They do not affect playback.  The Atlantic labels are beautiful.  Playback is sublimely good.  Deep, clear and strong (especially on the bass)  and characteristic of stampers out of which not a lot of records were pressed. A solid EX-.
