Description
First, please read this entire description very carefully, especially the following two points:
1. I cannot take returns as I normally would. I have moved overseas and am only in the U.S. visiting for a few days. If you read my feedback - you'll see I would never misrepresent an LP. I have played this LP and I don't see any legitimate reason for a return here if you carefully read the description below.
2. For this reason also, please be able to make Paypal payment within 48 hours. If you can't do that, please don't bid.

Now on to the DESCRIPTION - As you undoubtedly already know, this audiophile LP is mega-rare and is considered by many to be the finest chamber orchestra recording ever made. Here is a direct screen print from Arthur Salvatore's "Divinity" list:
"This may be the finest recording of any type, but I hesitate to say that because it is pointless and unfair to compare a recording of a large orchestra with a small, intimate chamber group. All I can say is that I have never heard any recording that is even more immediate and "alive" sounding. The inner detail, harmonic structure and dynamic shading are also unsurpassed." - Arthur Salvatore (his full website is at http://www.high-endaudio.com).

FULL TITLE: "The Fourth and Fifth Brandenburg Concertos" - Ars Musica, conducted by Lyndon Lawless - a Timegate Recording, TG 234. Engineer, Peter McGrath.
CONDITION: Visually this is a strong VG++ to NM-. As you can see by the reflection in the label photo, it retains the original full black gloss.
Play Grading :
Side 1 is VG++ except where Track 1 has some light marking on the mid portion of the track, which makes occasional slight noise. It produces some intermittent soft ticks and maybe 8 or 9 medium ones. These are not loud pops - it's pretty minor stuff IMO, but on a record this rare I don't want to downplay anything that might upset a picky audiophile :)
Side 2 plays VG++ with just the occasional random light tick that a good cleaning might take care of.
SONICALLY: Last week I played a few sections for a friend who is a well-respected record dealer, and he was blown away by both the sonics AND the interpretation. It is a rather unique voicing of the Brandenburgs, which alone would be reason enough to own it. I would not be selling this one, except that I am fortunate enough to still have two others. Those are only VG condition but I have already touched up and remastered them digitally.
COVER: VG++ - Even better than it looks in the photo, and definitely the best I've seen. These were very prone to ringwear, and this one has very little.
The LP will be shipped Priority Mail only, with insurance for the full purchase price already included in the Calculated Shipping.
