Tito Schipa - Volumes I, II, III, IV, V (Lebendige Vergangenheit, LV 185, 219, 247, 277, 1305, Austria)
The first 5 volumes which LV devoted to Schipa in Ex to NM/Ex to NM condition. N.B.: the record grades are largely visual, one problem area was graded aurally and an untroubled spot evaluated for comparison's sake; it should also be noted that the LV series reissues "unimproved" historic originals (so the faults of the original are retained) on good but not great vinyl (which has inherent noise-reduction limitations). That said, the surfaces are almost uniformly clean and unmarked and retain their original high-gloss. One small patch of light needle mark was found at the beginning of volume I, side A, and some light surface noise (small ticks, one small pop) diminishes the appeal of the first several tracks. Otherwise, the records look and (to judge from my sampling) sound just as they should. The labels are clean and undamaged. One of the original paper inner sleeves has been replaced by a generic paper/plastic upgrade. The sleeves are bright and clean with solid edges and undiminished labels. There is the barest hint of ring shadow, some very light wear to the corners and one small nick to the foot of volume V.

For the US, we usually prefer to ship everything USPS priority mail or first class with a delivery confirmation number. Priority mail offers average 2-3 days delivery of shipment. Other methods of shipping are available upon request. Postcards, photos, and flat items will be shipped priority mail for best service. We will ship worldwide. PLEASE NOTE:international buyers please be aware of currency exchanges and we will assess shipping rates accordingly. If there are specific exporting problems involving the item that you won, let us know about this ahead of time please.
