Description

“To A Western Sky” by Lee Farmer (Soliloquy Records) Birmingham, Alabama local 1977

Lovely, gentle folk psych singer-songwriter LP with a slightly detached, troubled vibe. Lyrics are thoughtful, very appealing vocal style, lots of well-played intricate acoustic guitar, title track has a super moody, late night vibe. Really tough one to find, apparently.

Should appeal to fans of John Palmer, Titus & Ross, Dennis Ryder, Robert Lester Folsom, Sandstone, Taylor Kitchings, Bill Jerpe, Joseph Pusey & other melodic rural folk or folk-psych.

Condition: Cover = EX (in shrink, no edge or ringwear whatsoever)/ Record = EX (No surface noise, excellent pressing for a private LP, play-graded both sides and it's virtually perfect throughout, some silent sleeve scuffs visible)

PACKAGING/SHIPPING/POSTAGE: As I'm VERY careful about keeping LPs in their described condition, I ship all LPs in custom LP mailers and use filler pads. I pack the disc with the inner-sleeve placed behind cover (both in a plastic slipcover) to prevent seam splitting in transit.

Postage for 1-2 LPs within USA: Media Mail = $3.00 or Priority Postage = $6.50, each additional LP add $1.00 (per LP).

Insurance is optional, but any uninsured package is the Buyer's responsibility (At Your Own Risk) and I cannot refund lost or damaged packages. Insurance rates are as Follows: 0-$50.00 = $1.30; $50.01 - $100.00 = $2.20; $100.01 - $200.00 = $3.20; $200.01 and Higher = $4.20.

Foreign Postage Rates:

Airmail for Europe/UK = $11.00 for 1 LP, each additional LP add $3.00 (per LP). Surface mail Europe/UK = $5.50

Airmail for Japan/Australia/Asia = $12.00 for 1 LP, each additional LP add $3.00 (per LP). Surface mail 1 LP =$6.00.

Airmail Canada = $5.50 for 1 LP, each additional LP add $3.00 (per LP).
