Todd Harry Rundgren is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer who has performed a diverse range of styles as a solo artist and as a member of the bands The Nazz and Utopia. He is known for his sophisticated and often unorthodox music. This is his fourth studio album, released on March 2, 1973, by Bearsville Records.
The custom German printed matte gatefold card sleeve, would certainly grade as NM. It shows very little sign of handling and storage wear (very minimal corner rubbing and bumping) with no ring wear. The spine is readable and the entry edge shows minimal signs of use. Also included in the album cover is a poem by Patti Smith, "Star Fever", written on an enlarged Band-Aid facsimile. The lyric sheet is included together with a postcard that implored the record owner to "send this card in and we'll put your name on the next record."
The original white paper inner is undamaged apart from some age-related discolouration and grades as EX+.
The UK pressed vinyl is without doubt NM. It may have been played - but not too much. The Bearsville labels are unmarked apart, perhaps, from the hint of a spindle mark. On play grading there was nothing substantial, maybe a rare pop or click, certainly nothing to spoil the enjoyment of the record - even at high volume. It plays superbly with very strong audio. The surface is very clean, glossy and shiny with no marks, a superb copy that grades as NM.
