   For sale is Todd Rundgren's Healing, originally released in 1981 by Bearsville Records with a special edition 7" 45 RPM single include in this promotional copy. The single is "Time Heals" B/W "Tiny Demons" and there is a gold stamp on the cover indicating that  this is a promotional copy. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks are the matrix numbers S-2/S-1, followed by "Sterling". This signifies that an early stamper was used for this first pressing and that this record was mastered at Sterling Sound, N.Y.C. These are all hallmarks of the best possible engineering and pressing technology and sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 and immediately put it away into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. This preserves the integrity of any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the record. There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. The cover is graded as VG+ because of ring wear, stress cracks along the spine and shelf rubs. The spine has color loss because of these cracks and rubs. The vinyl for both the record and the single is visually graded as VG+ with some surface scratches and a small vinyl bump on side one, track four on the album and I play graded the record as VG+ with surface noise most noticeable during the quiet passages but very close to Near Mint otherwise. I did not play the single. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I've owned it and still has a lot of life yet. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection.  I have a lot more of Todd's records as well as albums of all different genres listed in my Ebay store.
